The Kazakhstani athlete, who has been training with a well-known Canadian coach Brian Orser in Canada for three years now, made her senior international debut in September at the U.S. International Figure Skating Classic.

At first, after finishing short program, the young talented figure skater from Kazakhstan landed on the second place with 59.23 points behind Angela Wang from the United States, who got 59.49 points.

However, Elizabeth's free skating program brought her to the first place with 179.72 points in total. It is the best result of the Kazakh athlete so far throughout her career.

The silver medal went to Haruka Imai from Japan (174.89 points), while the bronze medal was hauled by Angela Wang (172.36 points).

Besides, another student of Brian Orser demonstrated excellent result at this competition. Yuzuru Hanyu from Japan clinched the gold medal in the men's event.
