Kazakhstan women's national team has earned the third place in the skeet shooting event at the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, Vesti.kz reports. Zhaniya Aidarkhanova, Elvira Akchurina, Angelina Michshuk scored 186 points in total, they were 19 points behind the event's winners Nadezhda Konovalova, Anastasia Krakhmaleva, Albina Shakirova of Russia, who scored 205 points. The silver medal was taken by the Thailand national team (Isarapa Imprasertsuk , Nutcha Sut-Arporn, Nutchaya Sut-Arporn) with 190 points. Kazakhstan now has 2 gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze medals and it is in the 21th place by the medal count and in the 10th place by award count: - Weightlifter Farkhad Kharkiand and athlete Margarita Mukasheva brought two gold medals to Kazakhstan. - Ten silver medals were earned by weightlifters Karina Goricheva and Aleksandr Zhaichikov, fencer Ruslan Kurbanov, boxers Rustam Rustamov and Zhan Kossobutyskiy and belt wrestlers Moldashev Dimash and Eskarkhan Oskanov, by Sergey Yemeliyanov in 500m and 1000m rowing and one by Beimet Kanzhanov in sambo. - Free-style wrestlers Berdakh Primbayev, Alikhan Jumayev, Nurmakhan Tinaliyev and Askhat Zahnbirov, boxers Yerzhan Zhomart and Nurdaulet Zharmanov, belt wrestlers Ayan Yermekbayev and Gulnur Yerbolova, athletes Yevgeniy Ektov and Nikita Filippov, Azhar Kenbeil in sambo, the national men's fencing team and the target shooting national women's team in two events took fourteen bronze medals at the tournament.
