Kazakhstan secures strong position in medal tally at World Nomad Games

With a total of 48 medals - 21 gold, 10 silver, and 17 bronze - Kazakhstan is leading the medal standings. Kyrgyzstan follows in second place with 23 medals (7 gold, 9 silver, 7 bronze), while Uzbekistan ranks third with 24 medals (7 gold, 8 silver, 9 bronze).
The World Nomad Games feature 21 sports, including ten demonstration disciplines. The competition spans 97 medal sets with 2,000 athletes from 89 countries vying for 581 medals.
Audaryspak - Two riders attempt to unseat each other from their horses.
Kazakhsha Kures - Traditional Kazakh wrestling.
Traditional archery - Traditional archery competitions.
Zhamby atu - Shooting with a traditional bow while riding a horse.
Kurash - Standing wrestling with allowed throws and sweeps; no ground fighting.
Mas-wrestling - A national sport of Yakutia derived from the traditional game of stick pulling.
