Kazakhstan President congratulated Maneza on Olympic gold

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a congratulatory telegram to weight-lifter Maiya Maneza who won a gold medal at the London Olympics-2012.

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a congratulatory telegram to weight-lifter Maiya Maneza who won a gold medal at the London Olympics-2012, Tengrinews.kz reports citing President’s website.
“I congratulate you on the brilliant and very convincing victory in the weight-lifting competition of the 30th Summer Olympic Games in London. Winning the gold medal, you have once again proved to everyone that you are one of the world’s leading sportswomen. With your skills, determination and will to win you by right deserve the competitors’ respect and adoration and support of millions of fans. I wish you to further gladden Kazakhstan citizens with your bright achievements in sport,” the telegram states.
Weight-lifter Maiya Maneza won the third gold medal for Kazakhstan in -63kg category and set a new Olympic record of 245kg. This is the third gold medal of Kazakhstan national team. Earlier cyclist Aleksandre Vinokourov and weight-lifter Zulfiya Chinshanlo won gold medals for Kazakhstan.
