Dauren Mussa, Khazar Pictures General producer, has been awarded with Martial Arts prize from the Academy Awards of Martial Arts, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Eurasia cinema festival press-office. The awarding ceremony took place in the end of January 2012 in Atlantic city, USA. The Oscar Awards of Martial Arts is held annually at Black Belts convention. Actors, fighters, coaches and stunt performers that approached the cinema through sport and martial arts take part in the convention. Experts named this award the Martial Arts Oscar. More than 1200 recognized Masters from 16 countries took part in the ceremony. Among them were Cynthia Rothrock (karate world champion and actress), Gary Alexander (the U.S. first national karate champion), Dan Severn (ultimate fighting world champion), Bill Wallace, Joe Luis, Don Wilson, Gary Vassilovsky, Benny Urquidez and others. The second World Kazakh Ultimate Fighting Championship Kazaksha Tobeles (Kazakh Fight) under the guidance of Dauren Mussa and Yerken Yalgashev was held on December 3, 2011 in Almaty. Don Dragon Wilson and Oliver Gruner fought for Kazakhstan against the well-known ultimate fighting sportsmen. Bes Karu (Complete Weapon Set) Kazakhstan Association of National Sport, established by Dauren Mussa became the best Kazakhstan federation of national sports in 2008. Hapkido World Federation awarded the Association with its diploma for development of martial arts in 2009. At present Mussa finishes working on a gang thriller All the World at Your Feet. Mussa is a co-producer of the movie along with Hollywood actor Armand Assante.
