Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten wins second competition in a row

Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten has won the International Ice Challenge Competition that took place in Graz, Austria, Tengrinews reports referring to Vesti.kz. The annual Ice Challenge international figure skating competition is organized by the Austrian Figure Skating Association and the International Skating Union. Denis Ten started with winning the tournament's short program. He got 88.19 points which put him far ahead of his closest rivals: Gordey Gorshkov from Russia with 66.56 points and Viktor Pfeifer from Austria with 64.32 points. After that Denis Ten, 20 received 173.19 points for his free skating routine leaving his competitors even further behind. Autrian Viktor Pfeifer, 26 took the second place with 134.09 points, 30 points less than the Kazakhstan figure skater. Danish figure skater Justus Strid landed in third place with 131.87 points for the free skating routine. This is the second win in a row for young Denis Ten from Kazakhstan. He previously won the Gold Cup in Merano, Italy.
