Kazakh mixed martial arts fighter Shakhmaral Dzhetpisov of the Alash Pride team has KOed a two-time winner of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship and a No Gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu World Champion Jeff Monson from the United States at the Diamond Fight-Friendship International tournament in Almaty, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. The International Tournament Diamond Fight-Friendship was held on March 22. Fighters from the United States, Netherlands, Thailand, Morocco, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia entered the MMA cage to win the tournament. Dzhetpisov fought against Monson in the +90 kg category. The fight that usually takes two rounds, 5 minutes long each, was extended by one more round. The Kazakh mixed martial arts fighter KOed his experienced opponent in the third round. It marked Dzhetpisov’s third win in five fights. Jeff Monson, 43 has had a total of 49 wins out of 68 fights in the MMA.
