Football: Shakhter starts training in Glasgow

Kazakhstan's FC Shakhter of Karaganda city held its first training in Glasgow. The FC is getting ready for the second leg match against Scottish Celtic, Vesti.kz reports. The Kazakhstan team checked into the hotel on August 26 at 10 p.m. Astana time and started their first training at the secondary football field of FC Pollok one hour later. The training last for one hour. The second leg match between FC Shakhter and Celtic will be held at Celtic Park stadium in Glasgow on August 29. Kazakhstan's Shakhter defeated Celtic 2:0 in Astana on August 20. The Karaganda’s FC S became the first Kazakhstan football club to reach a Euro Cup play-off in Kazakhstan's football history. If the team coached by Victor Kumykov fails looses more than two goals in the second leg match against Scottish Celtic is won't make it into the UEFA Champion League play-off, but it will still enter the UEFA Europe League play-off.
