Kazakhstan figure skater Denis Ten has moved up to the sixth line in the International Skating Union (ISU) ranking, Vesti.kz reports. The athlete, who scored 3203 points, has made it into the Top-10 of the world best figure skaters. He got 1080 points for his silver victory at the World Championship in Canada. Canada’s Patrick Chan (4808 points), who won gold in the Championship is the leader of the ranking. Japan’s Yuzuru Hanyu and Daisuke Takahashi are second and third correspondingly. Denis Ten won silver in the World Figure Skating Championship that was held in Canadian London and finished on March 16. Patrick Chan became the three-time world champion. Kazakhstan's Ten beat him in the free skating program, but still was a little over one point behind Chan in the total result. Spain’s Javier Fernandez won the bronze medal. Ten was ranked 16th in the International Skating Union ranking as of April 2012.
