Figure Skating: Denis Ten invited to World Team Trophy in Japan

Kazakhstan’s Denis Ten, silver prize-winner of the World Figure Championship-2013, will perform his exhibition gala at the 2013 ISU World Team Trophy in Figure Skating, Vesti.kz reports. The 19-y.o. figure skater has already departed for Tokyo to take part in the competition. “Leaving to Tokyo today for the World Team Trophy. It's going to be interesting to take part in the event for the first time! :),” Ten wrote in his Twitter.Canadian, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, French and the American teams will take part in the 2013 ISU World Team Trophy in Figure Skating. Prominent figure skaters Patrick Chan, Brian Joubert, Daisuke Takahashi, Mao Asada, Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov, Jeremy Abbott will participate in the tournament as part of their national teams.
