Four participants of the international expedition to K2 also known as Chogori has ascended from the intermediate camp to the second camp. The frontline team includes Maksut Zhumayev from Kazakhstan, Vassiliy Pivtsov also from Kazakhstan, Gerlinda Kaltenbrunner from Austria and Darek Zaluski from Poland. According to Zhumayev, a good weather is expected today, August 20, and the four climber as planning to reach the third camp. Other two members of the expedition, Ralf Dujmovits from Germany and Tommy Heinrich from Argentina, who stayed behind in the first camp, have gone down from the first camp to the ABC camp. Chogori is located in the Karakorum mountain system in Kashmir province at the territory of Pakistan. Its height is 8,611 meters.
