The Ice Prince and the winner of the Bronze medal at the Sochi Olympics Denis Ten will not go to the 2014 World Figure Skating Championship in Japan, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. “Unfortunately, I have to announce that I will not take part in the World Championship. I do apologize for it to those fans that are planning to go (to Japan). I will be back invigorated when the problems are solved,” the young skater tweeted in his official account. This year, it is only Abzal Rakhimgaliev who will be representing Kazakhstan at the World Championship in Saitama, Japan from 24th to 30th of March. Canadian three-time World Champion Patrick Chan who won the Silver medal at the Sochi Olympics will not participate in the Championship this year either. The Gold medalist of the 2014 Olympics Yuzuru Hanyu will try his strength at the World Championship to continue the successful year with hopefully one more win.
