Kazakhstan Daniyar Yeleussinov, 64-kilogram weight league boxer, has reached the 1/8 finals of the London Olympics, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. Yeleussinov defeated American Jamel Herring. The 21-y.o. athlete from Astana was intensely attacking his rival and won the first round with the score of 8:5. He also confidently won the second round 7:3. Yeleussinov didn’t ease off at the third round of the match and scored 4:1. As the result Kazakhstan boxer won with the score of 19:9. Yeleussinov will fight for his passage to the 1/4 finals against the winner of the match between Jonathan Alonso Flete of Spain and Mehdi Toloutibandpi of Iran in the 1/8 finals.
