Boxing: Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin hoping to fight Andre Ward

Kazakhstan's boxer, WBA World Champion, Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin has declared that his fight against Andre Ward was quite possible, Vesti.kz reports. "I think, I have now an excellent platform for the next year. Firstly I need the February’s bout to be a success. And what concerns the future, I hope for a fight against Andre Ward, but the time has not come yet. It is realistic, but not now," Gennady Golovkin said. Earlier, Gennady Golovkin vs. Andre Ward fight entered the Top12 most anticipated bouts in 2014. The American boxer is expected to be the favorite at the ring against unbeaten Golovkin. Ward is considered the No.2 boxer in the world, and the one capable of adapt to Golovkin's punches and put up a tough defense. Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin will fight his next bout against Osumanu Adama, a 32-y.o. boxer from Ghana, on February 1 in Monte-Carlo. The 31-y.o. professional boxer from Kazakhstan has 28 victories out of his 28 fights and ended 25 of them with KOs.
