Barys captain named the best defender of Continental Hockey League in January
Kevin Dallman, leader of Kazakhstan Barys teamб was named the best defender according to Continental Hockey League (CHL) statistics, website of the club. Dallman collected 10 (6+4) points along with effectiveness index of +9. Teemu Lassila from Novokuznetsk Metallurgist was named the best goal-keeper. He missed an average of 1.79 goals and repelled 94% of attacks during the last ten matches. Yevgeny Kuznetsov from Chelyabinsk Tractor collected 12 (6+6) points in nine matches and became the Best Striker. Stanislav Bocharov from Yugra (Khanty-Mansisk) became the best newcomer. He scored three goals, made two handoffs and got +3 effectiveness index in the last eight matches. CHL Commission that defined the best hockey players of 2011-2012 season took into consideration the statistics indexes of the players' performance that were passed by CHL Central Information Bureau on Statistics and Analytics.
