Yegor Silin, Russian-born cyclist from Kazakhstan's Astana cycling team broke his wrist in the fourth stage of the Tour of the Basque Country, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Astanafans.com. “Yegor complained of a strong pain in his left wrist after he had fallen during the stage. We went straight for a medical test. X-ray showed the his navicular bone was fractured. His left arm was put in plaster. The cyclist will undergo more detailed medical tests to define if a surgery is required,” Andrea Andreazzoli, team’s doctor said. Usually it takes 6-8 weeks to rehabilitate after such injures. Robert Kiserlovski was the best Astana cyclists after five stages of Tour of the Basque Country. The Croatian cyclist was the fourth in the race. He was behind 24 seconds behind the Tour's leader Joaquim Rodriguez. The multiday race finishes on April 7.
