Kazakhstani wrestler Almat Kebispayev has won a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Incheon, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

Kazakhstani wrestler Almat Kebispayev has won a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Incheon, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

Kebispayev took the third place in the Men’s Greco-Roman 59 kg category after winning over Ahmadjon Mahmudov from Uzbekistan in the semifinals. Japan’s Kohei Hasegawa got the gold after his victory over North Korean wrestler Wonchol Yun.

Boxer Marina Volnova brought another bronze to Kazakhstan in women’s -75kg weight category. In the semifinals she was defeated by Unhui Jang from North Korea.

Kazakhstan has 15 gold, 16 silver and 24 bronze medals and retains its 4th place in the ranking.
