Field heating equipment is being installed at the Central Stadium in Aktobe, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-officer of Aktobe football club Marat Dzhumabayev. As per Dzhumabayev, last time this kind of works were performed in 2005 when the stadium required renewal of the surface. Installation of the heating equipment should be completed by the end of May or beginning of June. So Aktobe can play against Vostok from Ust-Kamenogorsk on the new surface on June 7. “Thanks to the heated field our team will be able to play in cold weather,” said Dzhumabayev. As per the press-officer, the surface renewal is also timed to the coming games of Aktobe in the UEFA League-2011. Starting from 2012, one of the requirements for premier league clubs is to have a reserve field with heated surface. First league clubs will also be required to have a reserve field, but the surface won't necessary have to be a heated one. As of January 1, stadiums in Aktobe, Karaganda, Almaty, Kostanai, Astana, Taldykorgan and Kokshetau were certified by UEFA to host international football matches.
