Bibisara Assaubayeva, a new chess world champion is ready to become a 4th grade pupil (skipping the previous 2 grades), Tengrinews.kz reported. According to Liana Tanzharikova, Bibisara's mother, the girl, who is a first grade pupil now, has already learned the academic program of the first three school years. “Bibisara started to play chess when she was 4. She has been learning English since she was 5, and now she is able to read encyclopedias in English. She can learn anything with ease. I can't say that we are hurrying her up or that her teachers are driving her on. No, she aspires for knowledge on her own. But we won't overload her, and she won't go to the fourth grade next year, because she is doing too much learning and training,” Bibisara's mother said. On November 29 Bibisara returned to Astana from Brazil, where the world championship was held. Assaubayeva won a gold medal at the championship, by winning eight matches out of nine. Her result is a record one for the world championships, because nobody before has won the world championship among eight-years old children being seven-years old. “We are going to participate in the World Championship next year again. It will be held in Slovenia in November. We are planning to compete against boys at the championship. We'd like to play against both boys and girls in Kazakhstan championship as well,” Tanzharikova said. It is worth adding that apart from chess Bibisara is a successful rhythmic gymnast. She is a two-time Astana champion in her age group. The girl dreams of gaining the chess crown and becoming an Olympic rhythmic gymnastics champion. Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that Zhansaya Abdumalik, another Kazakhstan chess-player, became world champion one more time. She won eight matches out of nine in 12 y.o. age group. Alibek Igambergenov won a bronze medal in 16 y.o. age group at the championship.
