Tengrinews.kz – An earthquake in Kyrgyzstan was recorded by Kazakhstani seismologists.
According to operational data from the Kazakhstan National Data Center (IGI NNC), the tremors were registered on March 28 at 06:17 Astana time. The magnitude was 4.4.
According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, the earthquake's epicenter was located in the territory of the republic (Chatkal Range), 10 kilometers northwest of the village of Tegirmen-Suu.
In the populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, the intensity of the earthquake reached 2.5 points in the villages of Arkit, Zhylgyn, Tegirmen-Sai, Zhol-Sai, and It-Agar.
As a reminder, earlier Kazakhstani seismologists recorded an earthquake with its epicenter located within the country, 323 kilometers southwest of Almaty.
