Kazakhstani designer Kamila Kurbani has released a new collection of sweatshirts with tenge prints, Tengrinews reports.
Kamila Kurbani's previous collection featured prints of popular sites in Almaty and Astana. Kurbani's collection dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the fashion house, according to the designer, is not only practical, but also patriotic.
This time, Kamila came up with prints of tenge bills dated to 1993. "These old banknotes have the images of our heroes Abylay Khan, Kurmangazy, Al-Farabi and Abay Kunanbayev. That is why I wanted to retain patriotic element in my collection for the younger generation to remember them," Kurbani said.
The tenge sweatshirts are made of natural cotton ordered by the designer from abroad. The collection is limited with sweatshirts cost at 25 thousand tenge ($104).
Kurbani's sweatshirts and other pieces from previous collections can be purchased from Experimentarium concept store at Dostyk Plaza (111 Dostyk avenue, crossing of Zholdasbekov street).
