A Kazakh souvenir has been sold for $5 thousand at the charity auction of the beauty contest

Aigerim Kozhakhan, who is representing Kazakhstan at the beauty pageant, auctioned off an ornamental plate
Kazakh Urt from the
Nomads Heritage collection. A scene from traditional life of nomads pictured on the plate was inspired by well known painting
Kazakh Urt of a famous Kazakh artist Nelly Bube.
According to Aigerim, the People's Artist of Russia Lev Leshchenko started the auction, but in the end the Kazakh national souvenir went to a buyer who preferred to remain anonymous. "Everything was held on the highest level. I've never participated in the auctions before," Aigerim shared. The charity auction at the

Gift of Life. The beauties participating in the
Miss Universe 2013 visited the Federal Center of Child Hematology, Oncology and Immunology.

The Top 16 of the most beautiful girls will be selected by a separate panel of judges at the preliminary show of the
Miss Universe contest on November 5 at the Crocus City Hall.
The final of beauty pageant
Miss Universe 2013 will be held on November 9. The ticket cost ranges from 2500 to 130000 rubles ($78-4000). \
Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler is the chairman of the jury at the contest this year. Thomas Roberts and Melanie Brown, ex-soloist of Spice Girls, are the master of the ceremony.
