Kazakhstani model, graphic designer and popular Instagramer Ayaulym Shalkar has presented her debut collection of minimalistic clothing, Tengrinews reports.
Shalkar, 19, founded Ash Wear clothing brand (instagram.com/ashwear_/)inspired by the philosophy of simplicity and openness. The name of the brand “Ash” translates from Kazakh as “open”. It also coincides with Ayaulym Shalkar's initials (A.Sh)

The first collection was made in Kazakhstan from organic fabric. The young designer entitled her first collection Zhuregindi Ash, which translates from Kazakh as Open Your Heart. The collection is limited and can be purchased at the Kazakhstani store Experimentarium at Dostyk Plaza in Almaty. In the future, the brand plans to expand, but meanwhile, the “open” tees can be purchased only in Almaty.

The launch party of Ash Wear took place at Experimentarium on August 22.
The collection features temporary tattoos, “Tatty” (tasty) candy and “Kua bol, zhuldyz” that comes from a classic Kazakh song performed by Dos Mukasan and Rosa Rymbayeva. “Kua bol, zhuldyz” refers to one’s happiness shared and witnessed by stars and universe.

Currently, Aya Shalkar studies graphic design in one Europe's leading schools Die Angewandte in Vienna. She was signed with Stella Models in Vienna.
