Elephants, kangaroos, ponies and camels are march along the central streets of Almaty city today, the cities Department of Culture told Tengrinews. The march is part of the Warsaw Elephants Circus show: the troupe is performing at Almaty Circus with their Savanna Secrets Show from October 13 to November 10, 2013. According to the Department's PR person Rashida Tylivaldiyeva, the parade "starts at 11:00 a.m. on October 14 and proceeds in a large cycle from the Central Circus to Baitursynov Street, then make a turn and proceed to Auezov Street, then back to the Circus." Two elephants, six ponies, two horses and a chimpanzee will take part in the parade accompanied by 15 tamers. The kangaroo’s participation depends on the weather, since warm weather is crucial for the animal. The roads along the animal parade's route are not going to be blocked for traffic, but the traffic will be limited along some of the lanes. The procession will be escorted by two road police cars. The first show of the vising troupe took place on October 13 at the Central Circus of Almaty. The next show is on October 15 (at 4:00 p.m.), followed by shows on October 19 (4:00 p.m.), October 20 (1:00; 5:00 p.m.), October 26 (4:00 p.m.), October 27 (1:00; 5:00 p.m.) and on November 2 (4:00 p.m.), November 3 (1:00; 5:00 p.m.), November 9 (1:00; 5:00 p.m.) and November 10 (1:00; 5:00 p.m.) at the Central Circus of Almaty (#350 Abay Street at the crossing with Zhandosov Street).
