Around 300 events were part of the celebration. Astana invited artists and artisans from seven regions of the country: Almaty, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Atyrau, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan and Akmola Oblasts. 40 yurts (nomad tent-like house), 5 large tens and three stages for performances were set. A festival of Turkic cuisine took place during the celebration. 50 thousand baursaks (fried doughnuts) were cooked for the Nauryz. The celebration of the spring holiday Nauryz ended with a grand fireworks.
