Chemist from Petropavlovsk invented birch make-up

Creams, shampoos and even anti-cellulite remedies are made from birch in Petropavlovsk. Marianna Lezhneva, a local chemist and inventor, has come up with the idea to use the most common tree of this area as a primary product for cosmetics, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Channel 7. Marianna Lezhneva tries the remedies, created in her laboratory on her friend. The latter were quite skeptic about her inventions at first, but then liked her cosmetics and now are queuing up for these unusual birch recipes. “Marianna looks like a model, that’s why everybody says: “Oh, she is perfect! We’d like to have the same cosmetics that she uses,” the chemist’s friend Nadezhda Pirozhkova said. According to Marianna, she is not able to launch full-scale production of her cosmetics now. A large sum of money is required to do this.
