Upper-stage rocket Briz-M was delivered to Baikonur. It is intended for the launch of the Russian satellite Express-AM4, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports.

According to the agency, the container with the satellite was inspected and loaded to a transportation platform. The rocket is currently transported from the airfield to the Site 92 of the cosmodrome, where Briz-M will be prepared for launch.

The upper-stage rocket will have to take Russian telecommunication satellite Express-AM4 to a geostationary orbit together with Protom-M carrier rocket. The launch is scheduled for the end of August.

Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Russian and Belarus remote Earth-sensing spacecrafts are scheduled to be launched from Baikonur on September 29.
