Yerlan Karin was released from the position of Nur Otan party’s secretary. Bolat Bersebayev was appointed acting secretary, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the party’s official website. Yerlan Karin is going abroad for studies and that was the reason why he had to leave his post in the party. “Bolat Bersebayev graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National university in 1999. He is a recipient of presidential scholarship Boloshak (studied in Schiller University, Germany) and holds a master’s degree in political science,” the message states. He used to work in the secretariat of Kazakhstan Security Council, served as deputy press-secretary of Kazakhstan President, Managing Director of Arna Media National Information Holding, chairman of Information and Archives Commission of Kazakhstan Ministry of Communications and Information and state inspector in the Presidential Administration. Prior to his latest appointment he served as advisor to First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan party. The party’s 15th meeting will be held on October 18, 2013 in Astana. It will be attended by over 1,200 delegates from all over Kazakhstan.
