Transport communication will be established between Kazakhstan and Lithuania, President Dalia Grybauskaitė said at the meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. Lithuanian President was talking about railroad transportation. “Development of transport communications between the East and the West, where Kazakhstan and Lithuania will play an important role, will put a start to open communication between the countries,” Dalia Grybauskaitė said. She noted that the communication will be profitable not only for Kazakhstan and Lithuania, but also for the whole Europe, China and even the U.S. It will take 12 days to reach the Baltics from Kazakhstan. Before it took 1 month to move cargoes between the destinations. Lithuanian President invited Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Lithuania next year.
