“At this critical moment it is of paramount importance not to allow the conflicts to escalate. Toughened reciprocation of sanctions is a way to nowhere. The only effective alternative is negotiations to work out a common ground on all the major issues. Kazakhstan is committed to such an alternative and is trying to do its utmost to have a positive impact. The main point is not to stop looking for peaceful ways to overcome the disagreements”, Head of State said after heads of diplomatic missions of Malaysia, Estonia, Libya, Iran, Tajikistan, and Canada presented their credentials August 12.
President Nazarbayev emphasized that Kazakhstan is putting in place most favorable conditions to have foreign businesses actively involved into the country’s industrial programs. Notably, visa-free regime was introduced for foreign investors coming from ten countries, with the list of countries to be further extended.
“Macroeconomic indicators, legislation stability, growing GDP, international reserves in excess of $100 billion are a strong foundation for further work. We are even creating a compact government to make sure effective management of the business environment. Kazakhstan offers unique conditions for foreign investors willing to participate in the country’s industrialization programs. Notably, they are offered low tax rates, contract stability”, Head of State said.
