Tokayev calls Putin's visit to Kazakhstan successful

Tengrinews.kz — Kassym-Jomart Tokayev described the Russian President's state visit as highly successful, expressing confidence that it would be recorded in the history of the two countries' strategic partnership and allied relations as an event of paramount importance.

The Head of State noted that the signed documents and agreements reached reflect the essence of the Kazakh-Russian partnership—combining traditions of friendship and good neighborliness with a mutual drive toward shared progress in all spheres of public life.

"In conclusion, I would like to once again express my sincere gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, for his historically significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan-Russia relations. I am pleased to emphasize that the outcomes of your state visit have reaffirmed the special nature of our multifaceted interstate cooperation.

There is no doubt that through joint efforts, we will continue to move confidently along the path toward strengthening our strategic partnership and alliance for the well-being of our fraternal countries and peoples," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev concluded.

It is also noted that, aiming to further strengthen relations in the spirit of a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin adopted a Joint Statement on the Seven Foundations of Friendship and Good Neighborliness of the Peoples of Kazakhstan and Russia.
