Three days for Constitution Day in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstanis will be resting for three days in a row on the Constitution Day, Tengrinews reports.

The Constitution Day of Kazakhstan is celebrated on August 30th. According to the Holidays Law of Kazakhstan if a bank holiday falls on a weekend day - Saturday or Sunday - that is a day off anyway, then the next workday becomes the day off for the holiday.

As a result, Kazakhstanis are having August 29, 30 and 31st off.

This year, Kazakhstan celebrates the 20 years anniversary of the Constitution. The anniversary of the Constitution will be celebrated along with the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
