The Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Egypt Berik Arynov met with the Minister of Tourism of Egypt Hisham Zazou and the Minister of Awqaf Mukhtar Gooma.
Minister Zazou emphasized Egypt’s interest in attracting Kazakhstani tourists and said that they were planning to establish regular direct flights between Almaty and Sharm el-Sheik this summer, Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting the ambassador and the Egyptian ministers discussed development of the Almaty-based Kazakh-Egypt University “Nur Mubarak”. The ministers made suggestions on enhancement of teaching practices at the university and offere to launch a program to enable the Kazakhstani university students to study at the Al-Azhar University in Cairo at a graduate level.
