Bolashak (Kazakhstan’s education scholarship program) students organized a rally in support of Nursultan Nazarbayev in Berlin, Tengrinews.kz reports. Tens of students from Kazakhstan who are studying under Bolashak program in different European countries has come to the German capital to welcome Kazakhstan President who arrived to Germany with an official visit . Students from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other European countries gathered near the German Foreign Relations Council building where Berlin Eurasian Club has been opened. When Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived the students popped out of their banners with Yelbasy, welcome to Germany (Yelbasy – Head of the Nation) and started chanting Nursultan, Kazakhstan! and Go, Kazakhstan! and sang Kazakhstan’s anthem. Nazarbayev noticed the young people, stopped by and talked to them. The students told the President that they arrived from different European cities to greet him. According to the President’s press-service, Berlin Eurasian Club is created as a dialog platform for discussion of a wide range of social-political issues between Kazakhstan and Germany, as well as the European Union. “Creation of Berlin Eurasian Club is the first such project that Kazakhstan implements in Europe; it is aimed at studying new opportunities, enhancement of the dialog between European and Asian cultures. Berthold Beitz Center of German Foreign Relations Council is Kazakhstan’s partner in this initiative,” Nazarbayev’s press-service wrote. By Renat Tashkinbayev
