The Minister of Tourism of Oman intends to visit Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the press service of Kazakhstan's Foreign Affairs Ministry.


The Minister of Tourism of Oman intends to visit Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports citing the press service of Kazakhstan's Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Oman Yerzhan Mukash had a meeting with the Minister of Tourism of Oman Ahmed Bin Nasser Al-Mahrizi in Muscat, Oman's capital city.

They discussed prospects of development of bilateral relations, especially in tourism. They also agreed that Kazakhstan and Oman had huge untapped potential for development of tourism.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador updated the Minister on the preparation for the important international events that would take place in Kazakhstan, such as EXPO-2017 in Astana and the Universiade-2017 in Almaty.

Emphasizing the importance of establishing of effective cooperation in tourism, the Kazakhstani diplomat highlighted the need for mutual visits by heads of relevant agencies of the two countries.

In his turn, recalling with warmth the period of his stay in Kazakhstan as the first Ambassador of Oman to Kazakhstan, Ahmed Bin Nasser Al-Mahrizi expressed his wish to visit the country at a mutually convenient time.
