President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram to congratulate Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene on the birth of twins, Tengrinews reports citing Akorda.
The Kazakh President congratulated the Prince of Monaco and his wife on this joyful occasion, the birth of their daughter Gabriella and son Jacques, the crown prince of Monaco. Nazarbayev wished prosperity to Albert II and his wife Charlene, excellent health to the newborns, and long life and happiness to them all.
“It is with great joy that I have the pleasure of announcing that Princess Charlene gave birth... to a boy and a girl named Jacques Honore Rainier, who will bear the title of crown prince, and Gabriella Therese Marie, princess and second in the line of succession," Prince Albert announced yesterday.
The babies are the first set of twins born in the royal family since was founded in the 13th century. The girl was born first and the boy second, but the boy will eventually succeed his father as Monaco's ruler due to the country's laws of succession.
The newborns and the mother are feeling well.
