Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has advised school students to stop wasting their time in social networks, Tengrinews.kz reports. “I advise you to spend less time in Twitter and other social networks. You should better communicate live. You won’t find a real friend on the Internet. When you talk to a person, you see the person's eyes, emotions, you feel the person. Try to make more friends, communicate with each other more. A person locked in a computer becomes lonely,” the President said during a meeting with Astana’s 11-grade students. The suicides of young people “maybe caused by that”, he stressed, referring to the recent wave of suicides among young people in Kazakhstan. “There is a difference between people who read and those who just sit at the computer. The ones sitting at the computer will end us serving those who read,” Nazarbayev said. By Altynai Zhumzhumina
