Kazakhstan will set 56 polling stations abroad
Kazakhstan will open 56 polling stations abroad, Tengrinews.kz reports citing official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Altai Abibullayev.“Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry along with the Central Election Commission and Astana administration has prepared for opening of 21 new polling stations in addition to the available 35 stations abroad. Thus, the total number of polling stations abroad will make 56,” Altai Abibullayev said on December 12.According to the Ministry, this will allow to fully cover all the voters abroad. Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry instructed all the diplomatic missions to take organizational measures on holding elections at a high level. Kazakhstan has 45 ambassadors to other countries, as well as 6 charges d’affaires and 8 general consuls.
