Kazakhstan is ready to connect Europe and China with a fiber optic route, Tengrinews.kz reports. “Another application of the Great Silk Way lays in development of our IT transit potential. Considering the growing demand for telecommunication channels between Asia and Europe, Kazakhstan is ready to provide the shortest route for information flows,” Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the foundation meeting of Kazakhstan-Chinese Business Council in Astana. “I suggest we jointly think about efficient use of the capacities of the data centers available in our country,” he continued.
