Kazakhstan President met with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Nursultan Nazarbayev’s press-service.
The President noted that the objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions coincide with the forums initiated by the King of Saudi Arabia.
“In you speech today you have covered the most important problems of the modern world. I am thankful to the Muslim World League for supporting all our initiatives. Your active participation in the forum can be an example for others. Kazakhstan is the most northern country with a Muslim majority. Cooperation with the Muslim World League is important for us,” President Nazarbayev said.
“We are participating in this event on behalf of the king of Saudi Arabia and the whole Islamic community. We actively cooperate with the organization commission of the Congress and the chairman of Kazakhstan Senate and note the high level of these large-scale event,” Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki said.
