Kazakhstan President held bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the International Nuclear-Free World Forum, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website. Nursultan Nazarbayev met with former president of South Africa and chairman of the Global Leadership Foundation Frederik de Klerk. The meeting covered bilateral cooperation and the agenda of the international forum. The President also met with Director General of IAEA Yukiya Amano, Governor of Kansas state Sam Brownback and U.S. Congressman Eni Faleomavaega. President Nazarbayev discussed the status and prospects of bilateral interaction and the agenda of the international forum with each of the visitors, the President’s press-service states. Besides, the President met with Executive Secretary of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization Tibor Toth and also discussed bilateral cooperation with him. In his speech at the International Nuclear-Free World Forum on October 12 Nursultan Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan is counting on a positive decision in regards to placing the International Nuclear Fuel Bank at the territory of Kazakhstan.
