Kazakhstan Justice Minister discusses fighting human trafficking with US diplomats

Kazakhstan Minister of Justice Berik Imashev has discussed human trafficking with U.S. Charge d'Affaires in Kazakhstan John Ordway, Tengrinews reports referring to the press-service of the Ministry. “We had a constructive exchange of opinions on a range of issues, including fighting human trafficking, facilitating enforcement of court decisions and improvement of forensic experts' equipment," the message said. At the end of the meeting, Charge d'Affaires of the United States thanked the Minister for the warm welcome and expressed readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. U.S. Charge d'Affaires John Orday also met Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbaev to discuss countering extremism and terrorism earlier the same day. Before returning to Kazakhstan as Charge d'Affaires this year John Orday used to serve as the U.S Ambassador in Kazakhstan from 2004 to 2008.
