Deputy Prime-Minister Kairat Kelimbetov will lead Kazakhstan delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan President’s Central Communications Service Altay Abibullayev.
“Kazakhstan delegation annually takes part in the World Economic Forum in Davos. Kazakhstan President took part in the forum several times. He delivered speeches and held meetings with presidents and representatives of major international businesses. This year Kazakhstan delegation will be headed by Kazakhstan deputy Prime-Minister Kairat Kelimbetov. He is planning to deliver a speed at the Global Economic Forum,” Abibullayev said.
He pointed out that Kazakhstan and the World Economic Forum in Davos “traditionally have constructive cooperation”.
In 2012 Kazakhstan delegation did not take part in Davos Forum, as Kazakhstan President’s State-of-Union Address was scheduled for the same time as the Forum.
