Chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili has thanked Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev for hosting the negotiations with 5+1, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. “Thank you for your hospitality and help in hosting of this round of talks in Almaty. We wish success to the nation of Kazakhstan. Big thanks to his Excellence Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev for his special attention to these talks,” he said at the briefing on Wednesday, summing up the results of the 2-day talks of Iran and 5+1 international mediators. In his turn, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton also thanked the Kazakhstan party for hosting the talks. “We are thankful to the Kazakhstan government for the hospitality. Let me repeat what has been said: we are grateful to Kazakhstan government and all the people who have been working so hard to provide us comfortable conditions and ease up the work on holding the negotiations. We are looking forward to coming back here,” she said.
