Former senator was appointed chairman of Kazakhstan President’s Human Rights Commission, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s official website. “Kazakhstan Secretary of State Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed introduced the newly appointed chairman of Kazakhstan President’s Human Rights Commission Kuanysh Syltanov and its new members,” the President’s website writes. The Secretary of State gave the commission members tasks for this year and wished them success in protection of human rights, the press-service states. The ex-Senator left his parliament seat last year. Kuanysh Sultanov had served in the Senate for 10 years. By Assel Satayeva
