Tengrinews.kz – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sent warm wishes to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ahead of his upcoming visit to the country, according to Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.


Tengrinews.kz – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sent warm wishes to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ahead of his upcoming visit to the country, according to Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.

Speaking during a meeting at the Akorda presidential residence, Yılmaz thanked the Kazakh side for its hospitality and conveyed Erdoğan’s greetings. He noted that the Turkish leader attaches special importance to his forthcoming visit to Kazakhstan and participation in an informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkistan.

“Based on the agreements reached between you and our president, we have just held the 14th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation together with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. Following the meeting, we signed a joint action plan that includes concrete measures across various sectors. This document will serve as a roadmap for our trade and economic relations in the coming period,” Yılmaz said.

The Turkish vice president also congratulated Tokayev on the successful nationwide referendum on the adoption of a new Constitution and wished Kazakhstan further prosperity.

In response, Tokayev emphasized that during this pivotal period, Kazakhstan feels the consistent support of the brotherly Turkish people and highlighted the important role of Turkish observers during the referendum.
