Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed former head of the Presidential Administration Aslan Mussin chairman of the Accounts Commission, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service. “Aslan Mussin shall be appointed chairman of the Accounts Commission for Control over Implementation of the State Budget releasing him from the position of head of Kazakhstan President’s Administration,” the message states. Aslan Mussin worked as head of Kazakhstan Presidential Administration for 4 years. Earlier he worked as Minister of Economy and Budget Planning. Starting from January 2007 he combined the ministerial position with a Vice-Minister's position in Karim Massimov's government. In August 2007 he was elected to Kazakhstan Majilis (lower chamber of the Parliament) from Nur Otan part. He was elected Majilis speaker at the Parliament meeting on September 2, 2007. Earlier the former head of the Accounts Commission Omarkhan Oksikbayev received a mandate from Nur Otan party. Today President Nazarbayev has issued a decree “to release Omarkhan Oksikbayev from the position of chairman of the Accounts Commission for Control over Implementation of the State Budget and release Serik Umbetov from the position of Head of the Department of Kazakhstan Presidential Affairs due to their transfer to other positions”.
