Altai Abibullayev was appointed official representative of Kazakhstan President's Central Communications Service (SCS), Tengrinews.kz reports. "Altai Abibullayev was appointed official representative of Kazakhstan President's SCS. The Service was established upon instruction of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to improve transparency of the activities of Kazakhstan's state authorities and raise people's awareness of the country leaders' work," the message states. According to the press-service, the official representative of the SCS will hold regular briefings for Kazakhstan and foreign media. Dates and location of the briefings will be announced separately. Altai Abibullayev, born in 1974, holds a Master Degree in International Relations from the apartment of journalism and political science of Warsaw University. He has been working in the foreign policy system since 1997. He served as advisor-envoy of Kazakhstan Embassy in Poland and Austria and Kazakhstan's permanent representative office in international organizations in Vienna. Before his appointment he worked as chairman of the International Information Commission and official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry.
