Lebanese politician and former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora named Kazakhstan a prime example for other Muslim countries in his letter to President Nazarbayev, Tengrinews reports citing Akorda website.
In his letter the leader of the Future Movement political party spoke of his approval of Kazakhstan's presidential 2050 plan of development of Kazakhstan and it main goal to bring Kazakhstan into the top 30 most developed countries of the world. He also expressed his interest to President Nazarbayev’s annual speech.
Siniora found the sectors of development emphasized in the speech very important for the Arab and Muslim world. “You have touched upon such an important issue that is for the most part absent in our discussion in the Islamic world. (You described) growth, modernization and economic development as important and effective uniting principles,” Siniora said in his letter.
The Lebanese politician expressed his confidence in Kazakhstan’s strive for development as an example for other Muslim countries. In conclusion, Siniora wished President Nazarbayev determination to realize all the plans.
Fouad Siniora visited Astana in 2011 during the 7th International Islamic Economic Forum.
