Ingredients:
- flour - 200 grams;
- butter - 100 grams;
- sour cream - 3 tablespoons;
- salt - a pinch;
- vanillin - to taste;
- baking powder - 0.5 teaspoon;
- figs - to taste;
- sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- starch - 1 tablespoon.
Preparing the dough
Grate the cold butter on a coarse grater directly into a bowl with sifted flour. Add a pinch of salt, vanilla, baking powder and sour cream. Knead the dough quickly. Put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for 30 minutes, so that the dough becomes denser. Preparing the figs While the dough is cooling, wash the figs and cut them into thin slices.
Shaping the galette
Take the dough out of the refrigerator, dust with flour and roll out into a circle of medium thickness (not too thin). Mix sugar with starch and distribute evenly in the center of the dough. Place the fig slices on top of the sugar-starch mixture.
Carefully fold the edges of the dough, forming a rim around the filling. Place the galette in an oven preheated to 180-190°C and bake until golden brown (about 25-30 minutes). Let the galette cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
